Thanks for your interest in adding your camp to our #1 ranked AlbuquerqueSummerCamps.com directory!
Parents visit our directory to find the most comprehensive listing of camps in one place and many schools and libraries link directly to our site instead of handing our summer camp flyers. It’s no surprise that we rank #1 on Google when you search for “Albuquerque summer camps”!
I was a camp owner and director for 10 years and have been promoting summer camps online since 2002. My 2 sons attend several different camps every summer and I think the world would be a better place if EVERYONE attended summer camp. Camp people are my kind of people. 😊
I strive to provide exceptional customer service—especially by making sure that we provide a great return on your advertising investment. We have a full 100% money-back guarantee to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your results from advertising in our directory. While most camps report that we are their #1 referral source for new campers, we can never promise that will happen for your camp. Similarly, we never know how many parents will click on your listing.
Last year’s Google Analytics Data:
- Last year, we had over 97,000 visits to our AlbuquerqueSummerCamps.com directory.
- Camps with Standard listings received between 150-300 click-throughs.
- Camps with Premium listings received between 250-800 click-throughs.
- From these click-throughs, most camps report that their conversion rate is between 10-20%. That equates to at least 15 new campers for Standard and at least 25 new campers for Premium listings.
- We have a 92% renewal rate. In our 165 directories across the US, we have hundreds of camps who have advertised with us for over 10 years since we started in 2002.
Top 3 reasons some camps receive lower click-throughs:
- Since some camps are outside the city limits, it makes it harder for some parents to provide transportation on a daily basis for a day camp. (Ex. Camp located 1 hour away from Albuquerque)
- Some camps have a significantly higher cost to attend camp and prevents more parents from registering their children. (Ex. Residential camp that charges $1500/week)
- Some camps have a narrow age range, limited to one gender, and/or niche focus. (Ex. K-2 Reading Camp, Knitting Camp, or Fencing Camp)
We have learned some tips that help camps get higher click-through rates over the years, so consider adding any you would like:
- Camp listings are displayed in the order in which they are paid. So the sooner you purchase a listing, the higher your listing will appear. (Ex. The first soccer camp generally gets more traffic than the third soccer camp.)
- Videos show parents who attends your camp and what they do. Some parents need to be reassured that their child won’t be the only boy at the dance camp, the only girl at the karate camp, or the only minority child at the swim camp. Videos are great at showing who attends your camp for parents and their kids to feel more welcomed.
- Descriptions with promo codes to save $50 on registrations by a certain date can help motivate parents to register their kids now instead of waiting.
- Parents like to read reviews. Include a link to your Yelp or Google reviews. Anything over a 4.0 if helpful. Perfect 5.0 review averages can seem suspicious. Parents don’t need you to be perfect, they just want to make sure their kids will be safe and have fun.
